Job Summary:
The Director position manages and trains a team of Field Market Managers that work
within their region of responsibility. The Director will manage and execute all goals,
budgets and programming put in place for their assigned territory. The Director is also
responsible for managing distributor and customer relationships to ensure the smooth
operation of sales within the assigned territory.
Key Duties/Responsibilities:
- Manage team of field market managers and distributor network across all sales
channels to ensure they have the tools, resources, and support to meet sales targets and
expectations; to include but not limited to coaching, mentoring, sales call and
merchandising standards, business reviews, KARMA and iDig monitoring, and
performance feedback.
- Foster relationships with distributor reps, managers and merchandisers.
- Conduct sales seminars at distributor sales meetings.
- Identify new business opportunities and develop relationships with key distributor
managers in all divisions including off premise, on premise and chains.
- Prepare and deliver impactful sales presentations for sales meetings, key account
meetings, business reviews, annual strategy meetings and portfolio planning.
- Train and develop both the Western sales team and distributor partners on product
knowledge and sales techniques.
- Build and maintain relationships with key customers to understand their needs and
preferences and address their concerns.
- Build, develop and maintain relationships with regional chains to understand needs &
opportunities in both the on and off premise trade channels.
- Spend 50-60% of the time in the field.
- Use both iDig and Karma platforms daily to plan, record and analyze their business.
- Continually monitor sales and develop methods for uncovering new opportunities for
- our brands.
- Prepare and analyze regular reports on sales performance and identify areas for improvement and opportunities for sales and distribution.
- Work closely with customer service to ensure alignment of sales strategies with inventory and shipments.
- Implement WSBC sales strategies and plans, considering market conditions and competition.
- Plan and manage activities to achieve volume, distribution, promotions, and merchandising objectives for key accounts.
- Analyze market trends and sales reports to identify areas for improvement and opportunities for growth.
- Execute sales strategies and plans for the assigned region, considering market conditions, distributor alignment and competition.
- Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 5 to 10 plus years sales and management experience in the alcoholic beverage industry.
- 5 plus years of supplier experience calling on all levels of the distributor.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Regular short/long distance travel to customers, distributors, and or meetings.
- Occasional late night or weekend events.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.

Salary : $120,000 - $130,000
