The Retail Account Manager’s position is an off-premise focused retail account specialist who will develop a designated territory for new product offerings. The primary focus will be building key retail and distributor relationships, merchandising, and selling to retailers.
Key Duties / Responsibilities :
- Establish relationships with and educate key accounts, as detailed by the target account lists, to increase distribution and drive volume of the brands.
- Develop relationships with key distributor managers and sales team in all divisions off premise.
- Execute WSBC sales strategies and plans for the assigned area, considering market conditions, distributor alignment and competition.
- Plan time and activities to ensure achievement of volume, new distribution, promotions, and merchandising objectives for key accounts by ensuring target accounts are contacted and serviced as needed and in compliance with frequency standards set by management.
- Execute systems management to ensure business growth through displays, distribution, menus, features, merchandising and sales skill development at all levels of distribution process.
- Observe and analyze market trends and sales reports on performance and identify distributor and marketplace areas for improvement and opportunities for sales and distribution.
- Coordinate with internal sales team for successful and impactful planning, review, sales meetings, and annual market plans with distributors.
- Operate as the Brand Ambassador for the portfolio while in the marketplace.
- Other duties as assigned.
