A Day in the Life of a Senior Cybersecurity Governance Specialist – Vulnerability Management
As a Senior Cybersecurity Governance Specialist – Vulnerability Management, you will lead the Vulnerability Management Program within the Cybersecurity Governance team and drive risk management decisions with IT and business leaders. You will consult on vulnerability remediation, configure and maintain vulnerability scanning and reporting tools, and update executive leadership on VM priorities and objectives. Experience in vulnerability management, networking, and penetration testing is desired alongside strong analytical, problem-solving, and presentation skills.
Key Tools & Skills You’ll Work With:
- Qualys/Rapid7/Tenable: Experience configuring vulnerability scanners.
- ServiceNow: Develop reports to satisfy stakeholder requirements.
- Artificial Intelligence: Curiosity in leveraging AI for analytics and problem-solving.
- OWASP Top 10: Support remediation of application security vulnerabilities.
- NIST Cybersecurity Framework: Understand controls and defense in depth.
- Collaboration: Solve problems with application, infrastructure, and desktop teams.
- Presentations: Comfortability informing IT and business leaders of risk decisions.
