Product Owner

We seek a Product Owner to join our Enterprise Engagement Platform (EEP) Strategy & Operations team as part of the Office of the Chief Marketing Officer (OCMO). The EEP Strategy & Operations team is an enterprise-level shared services group responsible for implementing Salesforce CRM and Marketing Cloud solutions to each subsidiary of the Western & Southern Financial Group and supporting these users once they are live on the platform. With your help, we can continue to unlimit the possibilities!

What would I do?

As a Product Owner, you will collaborate with the business and the Salesforce scrum team to prioritize and deliver implementation of the platform to new business units, along with managing the ongoing operational backlog of additional platform enhancements. You will develop and maintain an 18-month roadmap to communicate to the business and drive future enhancement development. This role requires you to spend time with the business to understand and advocate for their needs. You will also be a strong partner with the IT backend systems for coordinating efforts and delivery plans. It is because of you and your leadership that we will continue to drive our enterprise platform vision, powered by Salesforce, forward.

The Product Owner role is an excellent opportunity if you have experience managing and delivering digital technology products (i.e. CRM, Marketing, web, mobile app, cloud software, etc.), particularly if you have previously led the implementation of a Salesforce product. Qualified candidates have knowledge and experience in Agile, Scrum, and Kanban methodologies.

You must have a proven track record of accomplishing goals and achieving results through strong partnerships with the business, as well as proven prioritization and decision-making skills. The Product Owner will need a proven track record of thinking creatively, exploring innovative ways to meet business needs, and an ongoing thirst to learn more about the platform you support daily. You must have excellent verbal and written communication, facilitation and documentation, problem-solving and negotiation skills, and the ability to influence and lead oneself and others. Experience implementing any of the Salesforce suite of products is a strong differentiator and is highly desired. Experience in the financial services industry is preferred as well, but optional.
