Become a Community Coach with Western South Dakota Community Action!
In this role you will help eligible participants in federally funded outreach programs, support families growing out of poverty and help individuals achieve goals and stability through coaching. You will be providing your clients with a supportive person who can help them define the frameworks of their personal goals, help them establish the steps required to complete the goals and assist with accountability and barrier removal as they progress towards achieving them.
MAJOR DUTIES
- Process client paperwork to ensure eligibility for our programs
- Case Management Assistance
- Informing clients of programs when they become available
- Assist Coverage for the front desk as needed per your supervisor
- Attend Trainings, Webinars, Networking events, Outreach Events as needed or required.
- Other duties as needed
- Provide Referrals for other outreach programs/agencies for clients based on eligibility and needs
QUALIFICATIONS
- Nonprofit Experience
- 2 years of related experience; case management, community engagement
- Experience working with low-income individuals and families
- Experience with housing programs, food programs, or other community support programs.
- Proficient with computers/Microsoft Office

Salary : $18 - $20
