Job Overview
You will work closely with caregivers, families, and the interdisciplinary team to ensure each resident receives individualized, person-centered care in a safe and nurturing environment.
Throughout your shift, you'll oversee and support caregiving staff, answer resident and family questions, and help create a calm, structured environment. Emotional support and gentle redirection are a key part of your interactions, helping residents feel safe and understood. You’ll also chart observations, coordinate with other disciplines (therapy, dietary, etc.), and participate in care planning meetings.

Duties
- Deliver comprehensive patient care, including monitoring vital signs and administering medications.
- Participate in the development and implementation of individualized care plans for patients.
- Educate patients and their families on health management, medication administration, and long-term care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Ensure a clean and safe environment for patients by adhering to infection control protocols, with continued education.
Requirements
- Valid LPN/RN license in the state of practice.
- Experience in inpatient settings preferred, particularly in medical-surgical or urgent care environments.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team while demonstrating empathy and compassion towards patients.
- Willingness to engage in ongoing professional development to enhance nursing skills and knowledge.
