Program & Position Details
Pay: Starting at $19.11/hour DOE
Schedule: Full-time
AM, PM, or NOC shifts (assigned based on availability)
Supportive, collaborative team with room for career growth
Important Dates (Required Attendance)
2-Day Orientation: June 23 & June 24, 2026
5-Week CNA Training Class: June 29 - July 31, 2026
Graduation Ceremony: July 31, 2026
CNA Employment Begins: Week of August 3, 2026
About the Role
The Nurse Aide in Training position is designed for individuals preparing to become Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs). Under the guidance of licensed nursing staff, you’ll receive hands-on training and classroom instruction to build the skills needed to provide high-quality, compassionate care in a skilled nursing environment.
What You’ll Learn & Do
Participate in a state-approved CNA training program
Assist residents with daily care needs such as grooming, hygiene, and dressing (under supervision)
Support meal service, feeding, and hydration
Observe and report changes in resident conditions to nursing staff
Learn proper infection control and safety practices
Assist with resident mobility, comfort, and transfers
Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful care environment
Attend all training sessions and complete required coursework
Demonstrate professionalism, compassion, and teamwork every day
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Eligible for or enrolled in a state-approved CNA training program
Strong interest in long-term care or a nursing career
Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Physical ability to assist residents and lift up to 50 lbs
Willingness to work in a fast-paced, resident-focused environment
