Facilities Technician

Western Sierra Medical Clinic is an engaging, enthusiastic, mission driven organization dedicated to providing high-quality primary care to all members of our community. This includes the delivery of evidence-based preventative care, chronic disease management, and addressing urgent care needs as indicated for our pediatric and adult patient population.

GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES 

The Facilities Technician participates in a wide variety of facilities service activities, including, but not limited to, maintenance, custodial, grounds, and event tasks as assigned.

GENERAL DUTIES

(This list may not include all the duties assigned.)

1. Completes assigned facilities tasks in a competent and timely manner. Examples of tasks include:
   1. General repairs
   2. Lighting adjustments
   3. Painting
   4. Assembling furniture
   5. Moving clinic assets
   6. Light carpentry work
   7. Supporting outside contractors
   8. Other tasks as assigned
2. Occasionally expected to complete assigned custodial tasks in a timely manner
3. Occasionally expected to assist the grounds crew as assigned
4. Completes assigned even setups and tear downs
   1. Assists with A/V setup and provides occasional support during events
5. Completes assigned work orders in a competent and timely manner
6. Completes additional reasonable tasks and duties as required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

1. Abilities to lift 50 pounds, squat, stoop, climb ladders and carry materials and tools.
2. Basic computer skills
3. Availability to occasionally work evening, weekend, and/or overtime.
