QUALIFICATIONS:
Essential Functions include the following: Other duties as assigned.
- Meets professional responsibilities.
- Plans and organizes instruction to achieve course proficiencies.
- Provides effective instruction using various strategies, which bring about desired student proficiencies.
- Assesses student progress and maintains records and communicates ongoing student progress.
- Organizes and manages the classroom environment to maximize learning.
- Demonstrates effective communication skills with students, parents, and the community.
Demonstrates effective people skills.
REQUIREMENT:
- Licensed Teacher is preferred
- Consideration may be given to a licensed teacher in other content areas
- Consideration may also be given to someone enrolled in a Transition to Teaching program at a state-approved higher education institution
SALARY/BENEFITS:
According to the salary schedule and benefit package, per agreement of Western School Corporation and Western Education Association.
