What are the responsibilities and job description for the Stockhandler; Full-time/40 hours; Days position at Western Reserve?
To inventory, receive, stock and distribute food products and related other food service products inclusive of cleaning supplies for Food Service Department and patient care areas.
Education and Training
High school graduate or equivalent.
Experience
Previous experience in food service preferred or on-the-job training.
Other Skills, Competencies and Qualifications
- Ability to be active and on feet most of the day, lift 50 pounds, push, and pull light to medium weight objects; occasionally push and pull heavy weight objects.
- Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in in writing with patients, visitors, hospital staff, and co-workers.
- Ability to be self sufficient, keep well organized and clean.
