What are the responsibilities and job description for the Physical Therapist (Inpatient), PRN position at Western Reserve?
We are looking for a PRN Physical Therapist to assist in the acute care inpatient setting working on the medical surgical floor, orthopedic floor, and ICU. Opportunity available for outpatient coverage, but not required.
Evaluates and treats patients with injury or illness through established physical therapy interventions and treatment procedures. Supervision of physical therapist assistants, students and others as deemed appropriate.
Education and Training
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy
- Current license issued by the Occupational Therapy/Physical Therapy/Athletic Trainer Board to practice Physical Therapy in the State of Ohio
- BLS required
Experience
- One (1) year of experience working as a Physical Therapist preferred.
Other Skills, Competencies and Qualifications
- Successful verbal and written communication skills required for customer relations.
- Must be able to lift and transport patients and equipment.
- Must be willing to work with individuals with disabilities
Schedule:
- Shifts are Monday – Friday between the hours of 8-430.
- No holidays and no Saturday’s.
- Occasional Sundays are an optional but are not required.
