What You'll Do:
- Be a vital part of our sports teams by providing care and attention during events and practices, ensuring athletes are safe and well-supported.
- Evaluate, treat, and help rehabilitate sports injuries, working in close consultation with physicians and following established protocols.
- Help athletes thrive through rehabilitation in alignment with the Ohio Athletic Training Practice Act.
- Support athletes and their families with education about injury prevention, treatment, and recovery.
- Assist with pre-participation athlete screenings, ImPACT Concussion Testing, and engaging with our local community outreach programs.
What We’re Looking For:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Sports Medicine or a related field.
- Certifications: BOC certification and licensure in the State of Ohio.
- Experience: At least 1 year of experience as an Athletic Trainer is preferred, but we’re open to passionate newcomers eager to grow.
- BLS Required
- Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Manual dexterity to operate specialized equipment
- Physical capability to lift and transport patients and equipment as needed
- A compassionate, inclusive mindset when working with athletes of all abilities
