What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sterile Processing Tech, 40 Hours, 11am-7:30pm position at Western Reserve Hospital?
Receives and processes incoming supplies and equipment, performs cleaning and sterilizing duties, prepares packs of supplies, linens and instruments in sterile processing as directed.
Education and Training
- High school graduate or equivalent; completion of course for Sterile Processing preferred.
- CRCST/ Certified Registered Central Service Technician or equivalent within one year from date of hire.
Experience
Previous experience in sterile processing operations or surgical setting preferred.
Schedule: Monday - Friday 11am-7:30pm
Rotation: Weekend On-call
