What are the responsibilities and job description for the Patient Access Representative, Full-time; 8:30am-5:00pm position at Western Reserve Hospital?
Serves as initial contact for all Patient Access Services, is responsible for registering and pre-registering patients, verifying insurance coverage and eligibility at time of registration, verifies patient demographics and accurately inputs this information in the registration application. Performs point of service activities, collecting copayments and self-pay payments.
Schedule: Every 4th Saturday 6:00am-2:00pm, with a day off during the week.
Experience
Required- One (1) to two (2) years of Customer Service experience is required. Experience in a hospital or medical office setting is preferred.
Education
Required- HS Diploma or Equivalent or better
