JOB TYPE: Full-time, hourly
DEPARTMENT: Internal Operations, Fleet & Warehouse
POSITION REPORTS TO: Fleet Manager
POSITION LOCATION: San Diego
JOB DESCRIPTION: We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Warehouse/Driver to join our team. This role is essential for ensuring operational efficiencies for warehouse and vehicles. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to safety and the ability to operate various light and medium duty vehicles and quipment. Will provide warehouse support.
JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Some computer work
- Drive vehicles to and from Repair facilities and fueling stations.
- Deliver goods to company warehouses, job sites, and service vehicles including locations in Arizona.
- Use Uber Account to arrange rides to pick up company vehicles.
- Perform light washing and/or cleaning of vehicles on occasion.
- Perform supervised and coached light maintenance, air up tires, etc.
- Support warehouse personnel as needed
- Support efforts to keep facilities clean
- Responsibly manage Company Credit Card
- Must be comfortable backing up in tight spaces
- Perform other duties as assigned by Manager or Supervisor.
EXPERIENCE AND ABILITIES:
- Minimum requirement is 5 continuous years with a valid driver’s license.
- No DUI’s on record; may only have a maximum of one point on driving record within last three years
- Must have driving record acceptable to Insurance Carrier
- Be able to pass a DOT Medical Exam (Commercial DL NOT required)
- Experience with driving larger vehicles using right side mirrors only is preferred
- General knowledge of diesel vehicles versus gas vehicles preferred
- Forklift Experience preferred
- Familiar with use of small hand tools preferred

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: 2 days per month, possible overnight
