Warehouse and Fleet Delivery Associate

JOB TYPE: Full-time, hourly 

DEPARTMENT: Internal Operations, Fleet & Warehouse 

POSITION REPORTS TO: Fleet Manager 

POSITION LOCATION: San Diego 

JOB DESCRIPTION: We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Warehouse/Driver to join our team.  This role is essential for ensuring operational efficiencies for warehouse and vehicles.  The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to safety and the ability to operate various light and medium duty vehicles and quipment. Will provide warehouse support.

 JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Some computer work
• Drive vehicles to and from Repair facilities and fueling stations.
• Deliver goods to company warehouses, job sites, and service vehicles including locations in Arizona.
• Use Uber Account to arrange rides to pick up company vehicles.
• Perform light washing and/or cleaning of vehicles on occasion.
• Perform supervised and coached light maintenance, air up tires, etc.
• Support warehouse personnel as needed
• Support efforts to keep facilities clean
• Responsibly manage Company Credit Card
• Must be comfortable backing up in tight spaces
• Perform other duties as assigned by Manager or Supervisor.

  EXPERIENCE AND ABILITIES: 

• Minimum requirement is 5 continuous years with a valid driver’s license.
• No DUI’s on record; may only have a maximum of one point on driving record within last three years
• Must have driving record acceptable to Insurance Carrier
• Be able to pass a DOT Medical Exam (Commercial DL NOT required)
• Experience with driving larger vehicles using right side mirrors only is preferred
• General knowledge of diesel vehicles versus gas vehicles preferred
• Forklift Experience preferred
• Familiar with use of small hand tools preferred

Frequently enter and exit large profile vehicles. Lift and/or Move Functions: regularly will lift up to 50 pounds.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: 2 days per month, possible overnight
