We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in facilities maintenance and demonstrate proficiency in various technical skills. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment, providing a safe and efficient environment for all and will provide in-house and factory training on all equipment supported.
Duties
The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including but not limited to:
- Performing routine maintenance on printing equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Troubleshooting and repairing electrical and fluid systems
- Interpreting schematics to diagnose issues and implement effective solutions
- Carrying out scheduled maintenance, including but not limited to semi-annual preventative maintenance
- Executing daily cleanings to maintain high availability standards
- Utilizing Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking work orders and work performed on equipment fleet
- Providing excellent customer service while interacting with staff and management
Experience
Candidates should possess the following skills and experience:
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in maintenance roles
- Current Driver License with reliable transportation
- Electrical experience, particularly with troubleshooting electrical systems
- Familiarity with using an ohmmeter and other diagnostic tools
- Previous experience in manufacturing environments is preferred
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- A customer service-oriented mindset with the ability to interact positively with clients and colleagues
