We are currently seeking an individual to join our team who will bring a positive approach to customer service, along with the professionalism needed to support our clients effectively . This position is for a full-time Child Protection Social Worker. This position will be based out of the Elbow Lake, MN office. Required qualifications include a Bachelor's degree with coursework in social work, psychology, sociology, or related field of education and experience.

Essential Functions
- Assesses the psychosocial, behavioral, medical and safety needs of clients and families.
- Creates and implements detailed service plans to manage all goals. Collaborates with state, federal and local entities.
- Prepares extensive and comprehensive social histories; home studies; case plans; case records; court reports, petitions and testimony; appears personally in court to represent the Agency.
- Seek court intervention to protect the health/safety of vulnerable children; prepare reports for court; testify in court.
- Training in forensic interviewing, sexually exploited youth, drug safety, and car seat safety.
- Other duties as assigned.
Special Requirements
Valid driver's license. Valid car insurance. SSIS training, CORE training related to area of specialization/emphasis within one year of hire.
This is a full-time position, non-exempt, union position. Anticipated beginning pay is $31.54 per hour. An array of benefits are offered. Intermittent and hybrid work schedule may be available after probation period.
