We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Freight Coordinator to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the flow of goods and materials within our distribution center. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to operate various warehouse equipment. The Freight Coordinator will play a crucial role in ensuring timely and efficient shipping and receiving processes.
Starting at: $20.00 hour DOE
Shift: Monday through Friday 10:00 am to 6:00 pm

Qualifications:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to effectively manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills for resolving complex customer issues
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a team setting
Job Responsibilities
- Answer inbound phone calls and emails promptly and professionally
- Coordinate and arrange customer deliveries
- Resolve customer inquiries and troubleshooting delivery issues
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships, especially during last-minute changes
- Resolve delivery or shipping delays and other order conflicts
- Process both on-demand and scheduled (routed) orders
Preferred Education and/or Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years experience in Customer Service
