What are the responsibilities and job description for the Admissions- Student Ambassador Events Team position at Western New England University and Careers?
Student Ambassadors on the Events Team will provide a positive representation of Western New England University to prospective students and their families through supporting recruitment events including, but not limited to, Open Houses, Accepted Student Day(s), Golden Bear for a Day, and Academic Preview Days.
Qualifications
1) A positive attitude toward the University.
2) Ability to convey a positive impression of the University to prospective students and families.
3) Ability to effectively communicate the benefits of attending Western New England University to prospective students.
4) Strong oral and written skills.
5) Ability and willingness to work within a team and share responsibilities for projects and tasks.
6) Vast knowledge of academic programs and campus life.
7) Knowledge of the location of administrative offices, labs, academic buildings, computer center, and other important offices throughout the campus.
8) Familiarity with or willingness to learn basic computer operations.
9) Punctuality and reliability in arriving for all scheduled recruitment events.
10) Ability to work with personal data in a confidential manner.
11) Ability to move about campus for 6-8 hour event days with breaks.
12) Occasional lifting and moving of boxes/materials weighing up to 30 lbs.
13) Ability to set up materials for recruitment events.
