What are the responsibilities and job description for the Yard Worker position at western mountain transport?
Local transportation company is seeking a self-motivated team player for a yard position with opportunity for growth
- Must be 18 years of age
- Operate material handling equipment such as Forklifts
- Knowledge of Flatbed truck loading
- Knowledge of cargo securement, strapping and tarping Chains & Binders a plus
- The ability to follow instructions, either while working independently, or as part of a team.
- Maintain cleanliness' of yard and work areas
- Demonstrate the ability to work safely and properly use equipment
- Knowledge of minor mechanical and or building maintenance skills a plus
- Possess a solid work history
- Possess a valid drivers license
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen
