General Summary
Leads strategy and revenue generation efforts for premium seating and hospitality associated with ticketed athletic events. Develops and implements outreach and relationship building initiatives to maximize premium sales across current and future athletic venues. Plays a key role in advancing external revenue growth, enhancing fan experience, and delivering exceptional service to donors, sponsors, and premium customers.
Major Duties
- Develops and executes comprehensive ticket sales strategies to achieve annual revenue goals, with emphasis on premium seating and hospitality offerings. Leads season, group, and single game ticket sales efforts focused on premium inventory and supports premium initiatives for major athletic events and venues. Plays a key leadership role in driving premium ticket sales associated with the Kalamazoo Event Center.
- Cultivates and expands relationships with prospective and current ticket holders through targeted engagement initiatives such as events, hospitality interactions, site visits, and external meetings. Provides exceptional service to support retention, long term account growth, and customer satisfaction. Identifies and pursues new business opportunities and innovative ticketing offerings that enhance value and drive additional revenue.
- Provides leadership and oversight for sales staff to support achievement of ticket sales and revenue goals. Guides staff development, fosters performance accountability, and ensures strategic alignment within the sales unit.
- Collaborates with internal partners to design and implement ticketing initiatives that enhance the fan experience and support brand and revenue objectives.
- Provides data, analysis, and insights to support strategic planning and monitors sales performance to inform data driven decisions that refine strategies and optimize revenue outcomes.
- Ensures compliance with all applicable organizational, conference, and governing body policies and procedures and performs other duties as assigned by leadership.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in related field from an accredited institution.
- Three years’ relevant experience.
- Progressive experience in sales, premium hospitality, or revenue generation.
- Proven track record of securing high-value sales and maintaining long-term client relationships.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Proficient with office software, including word-processing and spreadsheets.
- Proficient with customer relationship management software.
- Proficient with ticketing software.
Desired Qualifications
- Master’s degree in related field from an accredited institution.
- Five years’ relevant experience.
- Progressive experience in sales, premium hospitality, or revenue generation within a collegiate or professional sports setting.
- Experience launching or managing premium seating for new venue openings.
- Familiarity with Salesforce, Paciolan and PACfund platforms.

Physical requirements and working conditions
