What are the responsibilities and job description for the IT Specialist position at WESTERN MENTAL HEALTH CENTER?
FT position for a growing mental health center.
This staff will work out of our Marshall location.
Starting Salary Range $65,000 - $80,000 Based on Experience
Job duties include, but are not limited to:
- Electronic Health Record (Carelogic) System Administration.
- Stay up to date with EHR trends and changes.
- Utilize SQL to pull data from Carelogic’s database server (table views) for reporting/analytic purposes.
- Manage and run data reports on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, biannual, and annual basis.
- Upload data into Online data portals (MN-DHS, MNCM, MN EAS) through csv submission.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (Comfortable with Pivot tables, formulas, Power Query, etc.)
- Document all reports, workflows, and procedures to keep key-person risk at a minimum.
- Ability to communicate complex data analytics using clear and concise methods and presentation media.
- Work with external software to verify that data is being recorded and is accessible for future needs.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with knowledge of proper grammar, punctuation, and spelling
- Considerable interpersonal and collaboration skills with the ability to interact effectively in a team environment and independently.
- Detailed-oriented, excellent organizational, planning, and prioritizing skills with flexibility and adaptability in various work situations.
Education: * Associate/Bachelor degree preferred
Experience: * three (3) years of experience preferred in SQL report writing. Comfortable writing (CTEs, Nested Subqueries, interpreting written instructions into code). Experience in healthcare is a plus.
