Concrete Finisher Laborer

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Concrete Finisher Laborer to join our construction team. This role involves assisting with various concrete-related tasks on commercial and residential projects, ensuring high-quality finishes and adherence to safety standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, basic construction knowledge, and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

• Assist with concrete mixing, pouring, and finishing to achieve smooth, durable surfaces
• Set up and dismantle forms for concrete placement using hand tools and power tools
• Install rebar and metal mesh according to blueprints and schematics
• Read blueprints and schematics to ensure accurate placement of materials
• Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment for concrete finishing and site preparation
• Conduct heavy lifting of materials and equipment to support project needs
• Follow safety protocols including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)

Experience

• Prior experience in construction or concrete finishing is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate
• Knowledge of mechanical systems, schematics, and blueprint reading is advantageous
• Familiarity with heavy equipment operation, commercial driving, or masonry work is a plus
• Hands-on experience with rebar installation, formwork, concrete pumping, or tile laying is beneficial
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in various weather conditions
• Demonstrated understanding of construction estimating or renovation processes is desirable

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
