Job Summary
Western Maryland Cleaning LLC is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Part-Time Cleaning Technician to join our growing residential cleaning team.
We are a locally owned and operated cleaning company that takes pride in providing reliable, high-quality service to our clients. We are looking for someone who is hardworking, trustworthy, professional, and takes pride in leaving a home noticeably cleaner than they found it.
This is a part-time, daytime position primarily servicing homes in the Hagerstown and Boonsboro, Maryland areas. Hours may vary depending on the cleaning schedule and client needs.
The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys staying active, works well both independently and as part of a team, follows directions carefully, and understands that attention to detail makes a difference.
Responsibilities
As a Cleaning Technician, you will be responsible for completing residential cleaning services according to Western Maryland Cleaning LLC standards. Responsibilities include:
● Cleaning and sanitizing kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, and common living areas
● Dusting furniture, fixtures, baseboards, décor, and other surfaces
● Vacuuming carpets, rugs, stairs, and upholstery as needed
● Sweeping and mopping hard-surface flooring
● Cleaning sinks, countertops, tubs, showers, toilets, mirrors, and fixtures
● Cleaning exterior surfaces of appliances and cabinets as assigned
● Emptying trash and replacing liners
● Making beds and completing other light household cleaning tasks when included in the client’s service
● Completing deep-cleaning tasks as assigned
● Following individual client instructions and company cleaning procedures
● Properly using cleaning products, supplies, and equipment
● Caring for company equipment and notifying management when supplies are running low or equipment needs attention
● Working efficiently while maintaining high-quality cleaning standards
● Respecting clients’ homes, belongings, pets, and privacy
● Maintaining professional and courteous behavior while in clients’ homes
● Communicating promptly with management regarding scheduling, client concerns, damages, or other issues
● Arriving to work reliably and on time
● Working cooperatively with other cleaning technicians and team members
Qualifications Required:
● Must be dependable and have reliable attendance
● Strong attention to detail
● Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
● Ability to work independently and as part of a team
● Professional, respectful, and trustworthy demeanor
● Ability to maintain client confidentiality and respect clients’ property
● Ability to perform physically active work for several hours at a time
● Ability to bend, kneel, reach, climb stairs, and remain on your feet throughout the workday
● Ability to lift and carry cleaning equipment and supplies
● Reliable transportation to the required work/meeting location
● Ability to work daytime hours Monday through Friday based on the client schedule
Preferred:
● Previous residential, commercial, housekeeping, janitorial, or professional cleaning experience
● Experience working in clients’ homes
● Familiarity with professional cleaning products and equipment
Previous professional cleaning experience is helpful, but we are willing to train the right person who is reliable, motivated, detail-oriented, and willing to learn our cleaning standards.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
