Enrollment Outreach Worker - Washington County

Purpose:

To conduct outreach activities and provide enrollment assistance in the far western region of Maryland.

Responsibilities:

• Prioritize and complete all Paycom responsibilities in a timely manner
• Serve as trained and certified Consumer Assistance Worker for the Connector Entity
• Work directly with regional community-based organizations related to assigned program(s)
• Maintain an ongoing presence with community partners
• Provide benefits counseling in a culturally competent manor
• Respond to assistance requests from the community/the MHBE
• Provide reports as requested/needed
• Attend required/requested meetings, training courses and workshops
• Handle confidential and sensitive information with care and integrity
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 2 years’ experience of conducting outreach activities
• Health plan enrollment experience preferred
• Computer literacy skills, including the Microsoft Office Suite and Google Apps
• Ability to use written and oral communication effectively
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Available to work evenings, weekends, and travel regionally as needed

Salary is subject to grant guidelines and is based on education and experience.
