About the Internship & Co-op ProgramWestmag offers exciting Internship and Co-op opportunities for students eager to gain hands-on experience in the fields of engineering, operations, product development, and business functions. Interns and co-op students will work closely with experienced professionals, contributing to impactful projects that support Westmag’s mission to innovate in drone motor manufacturing.
Role Description- Work on the production floor supporting advanced manufacturing of drone motors and robotic actuators.
- Assist with assembly, process documentation, and production-line setup and improvements.
- Support quality and testing activities to ensure products meet manufacturing standards.
- Contribute to hands-on production-ramp projects, documentation, and reporting as assigned.
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program related to Engineering, Operations, Business, or a relevant field.
- Strong interest in robotics, drone technology, manufacturing, or technology startups.
- Previous internship or project-based student org experience (Formula SAE, Rocketry, Design Build Fly, etc.)
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Good communication skills and willingness to learn.
- Basic knowledge of relevant tools or software (CAD, Excel, data analysis, etc.) preferred but not required.
- Authorized to work in the United States for the duration of the internship/co-op period.
