Our senior living facility is looking for a creative and dedicated Activities Assistant to coordinate events and daily activities for our residents. You will be responsible for facilitating a variety of programs that promote participation from our residents, creating an upbeat atmosphere, and increase community bonding.
These activities are an important part of our large-scale effort to keep residents active and content.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Execute weekly and monthly activity schedule
- Coordinate and facilitate calendar with staff
- Collaborate with Activities Director to schedule games and other in-house activities
- Promote participation during each event
Requirements and Qualifications
- High energy and creative thinking!
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Subject to a background check
Must be able to work Mondays with varied hours other days.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 20 per week
