We are seeking a Picker/Packer to support our Distribution Center operations by accurately selecting and packaging finished goods for shipment to our retailers and customers. This role is essential to maintaining our standards of craftsmanship and ensuring consistent product quality during the final stages of order fulfillment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pick orders accurately based on packing slips and inventory system instructions.
- Inspect boots and packaging materials for quality and accuracy before shipment.
- Pack items securely using appropriate materials to ensure damage-free delivery.
- Label boxes and pallets correctly for outgoing shipments.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow safety guidelines and operational procedures at all times.
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
- Previous experience in warehouses or distribution settings is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Basic math and reading skills required.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift, push, pull up to 55 lbs.
- Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods of time.
- Use of hands and arms for packing, lifting, and operating equipment.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced, physically active environment.
Work Environment:
- This is an on-site position at our facility.
- Work may involve exposure to packaging materials and mechanical equipment.
- Noise level and temperature may vary depending on department and season.
Schedule:
- Monday–Friday weekends as needed. 40 hours a week plus overtime as needed.
- Shift hours may vary between 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM depending on department assignment.
