Job Description
Western Kentucky University invites applications for a non-tenure eligible instructor position in the Accounting Department of the Gordon Ford College of Business. Employment begins as early as the Fall 2025 semester. The Gordon Ford College of Business is AACSB accredited. Of the 2,000 students enrolled in the college, over 300 are accounting majors.
The successful candidate will contribute to the ongoing delivery and enhancement of the department's undergraduate curriculums, and to the service activities that support the goals of the department, college, and university. Teaching responsibilities will include the instruction of introductory accounting courses as well as the coverage of upper-level courses where the candidate's expertise meets the needs of the department. The normal teaching load is twelve hours per semester.
The successful candidate should demonstrate the potential for quality teaching and service. Preference will be given to applicants having in-person experience teaching at a post-secondary institution. Current and relevant professional knowledge and active professional engagement are necessary.

Applicants must meet the following minimum qualifications.
