Medical Assistant

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare examination rooms and assist providers during patient visits
• Obtain and record vital signs, medical histories, and patient information
• Perform basic laboratory tests and administer injections, as directed by the provider
• Schedule patient appointments and manage the front desk, including check-ins and check-outs
• Assist with patient education, explaining procedures, treatments, and follow-up care
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic health records (EHR)
• Handle phone calls, answer patient inquiries, and manage referrals and prescription requests
• Ensure a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Comply with all safety protocols, infection control measures, and HIPAA regulations

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and in a team-oriented environment
• Compassionate and patient-focused attitude
