Duties
- Assist in the layout and installation of underground pipelines using blueprint reading skills and pipe laser tools for precise placement
- Operate heavy machinery such as dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, and front loader trucks to excavate trenches and move materials efficiently
- Support concrete forming and finishing tasks to secure pipeline structures and related infrastructure
- Use utility locating equipment to identify existing underground utilities before excavation to ensure safety
- Perform welding tasks when necessary to secure pipe joints or repair equipment, adhering to safety standards
- Maintain a clean and organized worksite by managing materials, tools, and debris effectively
- Follow all safety protocols, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), to maintain a safe working environment
Experience
- Prior experience in construction site work, especially with pipeline installation or utility projects is highly preferred
- Proficiency in heavy equipment operation such as dozer, loader, backhoe, excavator, forklift, and front loader truck
- Knowledge of blueprint reading, concrete finishing, plumbing systems, and pipeline construction techniques
- Familiarity with construction safety standards and procedures related to oil & gas or utility infrastructure projects
- Ability to operate specialized tools like pipe lasers and pipe lasers for accurate alignment
- Experience with utility locating devices to identify underground utilities before excavation
- Strong physical stamina with the ability to perform manual labor in various weather conditions

Pay: $26.00 - $30.65 per hour
