Sports Performance and the Assistant Director for Sports Performance in
all aspects of developing and implementing strength and conditioning
programs for all 17 Division I sport programs. These responsibilities
include, but are not limited to; implement strength and conditioning
programs for assigned sport teams, coordinate times for assigned teams
around class and team schedules in conjunction with weight room and
sports performance staff, assist with and conduct periodic performance
and strength testing, stay abreast of current trends in the field, and
other duties as assigned.
State of Illinois benefits. These benefits are administered through the
Illinois Department of Central Management Services (CMS). These benefits

Job Requirements
**REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:**
- Bachelor\'s degree in related field
- Experience in the field of Sports Performance
- Certified with NSCA-CSCS and/or CSCCa-SCCC
- Experience with training athletes in a professional setting
- Demonstrated understanding of, and implementation of programs and
institutional rules, regulations, and procedures;
- Demonstrated commitment to gender equity and diversity;
- Excellent written and oral communication skills;
- Knowledge of rules and regulations governing intercollegiate
experience;
Preferred Qualifications
- Master\'s degree in Sport Management or Kinesiology (health related
