RESPONSIBILITIES: Under administrative supervision, this position provides management and administrative support functions for the Division of Student Success Leadership and affiliated Directors and maintains and manages fiscal records. This position also prepares annual professional service contracts, payment requests and requests for purchase and compiles data and generates monthly financial reports for all departments in the Division of Student Success. This position develops and manages business correspondence as directed and collaborates with vendors regarding contracts relative to the business and financial operations of the division of student success. This position also assists with development, implementation and interpretation of operational policies and procedures relative to the business and fiscal operation for the division of student success and ensures compliance with institutional regulatory guidelines relative to the business and fiscal operations of the division of student success.

WORK LOCATION: Macomb campus

APPOINTMENT: As soon as possible

MONTHLY WAGE: $3,810 - $4,191 (anticipated wage $3,810)

Job Requirements:


1. Bachelor's degree in accountancy, business administration, management, or a closely related field.

OR

2. Three (3) years (36 months) of work experience in accounting, business administration, fiscal management, or closely related experience.

OR

3. A combination of such education and/or work experience totaling three (3) years (36 months), as measured by the following conversion table or its proportional equivalent:

  • 30 semester hours equals one (1) year (12 months)
  • 60 semester hours or an Associate's Degree equals eighteen months (18 months)
  • 90 semester hours equals two (2) years (24 months)

For a degree to be considered, it must be conferred from a regionally accredited degree-granting institution of higher education (or equivalent from an international accrediting body). The degree must be conferred at the time of application.
