In this role, you will:
- Serve as a strategic recruitment partner to leaders across the organization.
- Build meaningful relationships with candidates, colleges, community groups, and professional networks.
- Champion a best-in-class candidate experience rooted in respect, timeliness, and excellent communication.
- Support career pathway development, internal advancement, and succession planning efforts.
- Uphold compliance, organizational values, and responsible stewardship of the recruitment budget.
- Develops, facilitates, and implements all phases of the recruitment process.
- Leads recruitment efforts to fill open positions by creating job postings, advertising for open position, screening applications, conducting interviews, and extending job offers.
- Collaborate with department leaders to build accurate job descriptions, hiring criteria, and interview materials.
- Identify and apply effective sourcing strategies based on market trends and position needs.
- Represent Western Home Communities at career fairs, college events, and community recruitment opportunities.
- Maintain consistent and timely communication with applicants throughout the selection process.
- Coordinate candidate screening processes (background checks, references, etc.).
- Partner with leadership to support career pathways and succession planning initiatives.
- Oversee and manage the recruitment budget responsibly and in alignment with organizational values.
- Coordinate general orientation, prepare materials, and schedule presenters.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, HR, Management, or related field or a high school diploma with at least five years of relevant experience.
- Five or more years of full-cycle recruitment experience preferred.
- Experience using HRIS and ATS systems strongly preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with good negotiation tactics.
- Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment for a variety of roles.
- Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment.
- Must be able to read, speak, and write fluent English.
