Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service to ensure a positive shopping experience
- Assist customers in selecting products that meet their needs, offering knowledgeable advice on features and benefits
- Process sales transactions accurately using cash registers and financial software, including cash handling and cashiering duties
- Manage cash management responsibilities such as balancing registers, handling cash, and performing basic math calculations for transactions
- Support retail sales efforts by promoting ongoing promotions, loyalty programs, and new product launches
- Maintain store cleanliness, organize merchandise displays, and ensure shelves are stocked with accurate pricing information
- Perform loan processing or special order requests when applicable, ensuring proper documentation and customer follow-up
- Answering phone calls & sending company emails
Qualifications
- Prior experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key!
- Basic math skills including retail math, cash handling, and 10 key typing proficiency to ensure accurate transactions.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively and build rapport
- Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periods in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in English and Spanish
- A positive attitude with a proactive approach to teamwork and problem-solving.
- Ability to perform under pressure and address complaints in a timely manner.
