- Lead and mentor the plant crew, providing training and promoting a culture of safety and teamwork
- Monitor production processes and troubleshoot any issues to maintain efficiency and quality
- Coordinate with project managers and paving teams to schedule production and delivery timelines
- Conduct regular equipment inspections, ensuring all machines are fully operational and well-maintained
- Document production data, maintenance activities, and any safety incidents, reporting to management as necessary
- Stay current with industry standards and regulations to ensure compliance across all operations
- Significant experience in asphalt production, with at least 3-5 years in a supervisory role preferred
- Strong knowledge of asphalt plant operations, machinery, and safety practices
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients, team members, and stakeholders
- Strong problem-solving capabilities and the ability to make decisions under pressure
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and specifications
- Willingness to travel frequently and work flexible hours based on project needs
