Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to lead daily warehouse operations in a fast-paced electrical distribution environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in warehouse management, inventory control, team leadership, and operational efficiency. Experience in the electrical distribution industry is highly preferred.

This role is responsible for ensuring safe, accurate, and efficient receiving, stocking, picking, shipping, and delivery support while maintaining exceptional customer service and inventory accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

Warehouse Operations

  • Oversee all warehouse activities including receiving, put-away, replenishment, picking, packing, shipping, and transfers.
  • Ensure orders are processed accurately and on time to support customer expectations.
  • Develop and maintain efficient warehouse processes and workflows.
  • Monitor productivity and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

Inventory Management

  • Maintain high inventory accuracy through cycle counts, audits, and process controls.
  • Investigate inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
  • Manage damaged, obsolete, and excess inventory.
  • Collaborate with purchasing and sales teams to ensure inventory availability.

Team Leadership

  • Lead, coach, train, and develop warehouse associates.
  • Establish performance expectations and hold team members accountable.
  • Conduct regular team meetings and safety training.
  • Foster a positive, team-oriented culture focused on accountability and service.

Safety & Compliance

  • Promote and enforce all company safety policies and OSHA requirements.
  • Ensure proper operation of forklifts, warehouse equipment, and material handling processes.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.

Technology & Process Improvement

  • Utilize ERP and warehouse management systems to monitor inventory and productivity.
  • Support implementation and utilization of RF scanners, barcode systems, and warehouse technology.

Customer Service

  • Support internal and external customers through timely and accurate order fulfillment.
  • Work closely with sales, purchasing, and operations teams to resolve issues quickly.
  • Ensure a professional customer experience for will-call and pickup orders.

Required Qualifications

  • 5 years of progressive warehouse leadership experience.
  • 3 years managing warehouse teams and operations.
  • Proven experience with inventory management and warehouse processes.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a warehouse environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in electrical distribution, industrial distribution, construction supply, or wholesale distribution.
  • Knowledge of electrical products, materials, and customer requirements.
  • Experience with RF scanners, warehouse automation, and inventory control systems.
  • Forklift certification

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
