We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Buyer to join our team. In this role, you’ll play a key part in ensuring materials are available when needed, building strong supplier partnerships, and identifying opportunities to improve cost, efficiency, and processes.

What you will do:
- Prepare, issue, and manage purchase orders and supplier agreements
- Process requisitions and provide updates on order status
- Monitor inventory levels to maintain appropriate stock for production needs
- Coordinate transportation and track shipments to ensure on-time-delivery
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and suppliers
- Research, evaluate, and compare suppliers, good, and services
- Select suppliers based on reliability, quality, and cost-effectiveness
- Request quotes and negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts
- Analyze market trends to support informed purchasing decisions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support production and business needs
- Analyze the industry and demand trends and support sourcing strategies
- Maintain accurate purchasing records and prepare reports
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives
- Support additional responsibilities as need to meet business and customer needs
Required Education, Knowledge & Skills
- High school diploma or GED required
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, or related field or 5 years of purchasing/supply chain experience
- Experience in a manufacturing environment (injection molding is a plus)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and ERP systems (IQMS experience is a plus)
- Strong understanding of purchasing strategies and supplier management
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- A proactive, solution-oriented mindset
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
