Job Description
Western Digital® is seeking an Affiliate Marketing Specialist who is passionate about creating awareness for our products and driving sales revenue through affiliate marketing and marketplaces. This full-time position is based in Irvine CA and reports to the Director of Digital Marketing. Currently, this role is hybrid - it requires that the employee be able to work in the office a few times per week while also maintaining an appropriate workspace at home.
The candidate for this role will be responsible for the management and growth of our affiliate programs and marketplaces. The candidate will manage and oversee all aspects of affiliate marketing and assist with marketplace management. The successful candidate for this position will have strong interpersonal skills and an enthusiasm for turning big ideas into action.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Implement, manage, and grow our affiliate program and marketplace partnerships
- Oversee the day-to-day marketplace E-commerce operations, customer service, updates, post listings, promotions, merchandising, maintenance and performance
- Manage affiliate partner relationships, including communication of business opportunities to drive revenue during key times of the year
- Develop and optimize the affiliate marketing and marketplace strategy based on the company objectives
- Recruit and onboard new affiliate partners
- Manage data feeds, promotions, and listings on marketplaces
- Stay up to date on affiliate marketing and marketplace trends to identify/implement new opportunities to enhance the business
- Work with internal teams to distribute offers and promotions and remove unauthorized promotions from the channel
- Develop and produce ongoing and ad hoc reporting, analysis, and recommendations to optimize partnership performance
Qualifications
- BA/BS degree
- Good understanding of eCommerce, partner marketing, and/or consumer marketing
- Collaborative team player who can lead cross-functional teams and manage stakeholders at all levels throughout an organization
- Experience communicating with external vendors to implement new marketing initiatives
- Data driven individual translating metrics into action to drive business outcomes
- Familiarity with marketplace platforms (e.g. eBay, Walmart, Target, Best Buy, Google Marketplace). Experience managing platforms preferred.
- Familiarity with affiliate networks (e.g. CJ, Impact, Rakuten, etc). Experience managing platforms preferred.
- Success working in fast-paced environment with demonstrated strong business results
- Experience sharing business results and opportunity for optimization with internal stakeholders

Compensation & Benefits Details
- An employee’s pay position within the salary range may be based on several factors including but not limited to (1) relevant education; qualifications; certifications; and experience; (2) skills, ability, knowledge of the job; (3) performance, contribution and results; (4) geographic location; (5) shift; (6) internal and external equity; and (7) business and organizational needs.
- The salary range is what we believe to be the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in California, Colorado, New York or remote jobs that can be performed in California, Colorado and New York. This range may be modified in the future.
- You will be eligible to participate in Western Digital’s Short-Term Incentive (STI) Plan, which provides incentive awards based on Company and individual performance. Depending on your role and your performance, you may be eligible to participate in our annual Long-Term Incentive (LTI) program, which consists of restricted stock units (RSUs) or cash equivalents, pursuant to the terms of the LTI plan. Please note that not all roles are eligible to participate in the LTI program, and not all roles are eligible for equity under the LTI plan.
