Commercial Lines Account Assistant - Entry Level

As a Commercial Lines Account Assistant/Customer Service Representative, you'll play an important role in supporting our Commercial Lines team. Responsibilities include processing policy changes, responding to client and carrier requests, maintaining accurate account information, assisting with billing, preparing certificates of insurance, and learning insurance rating systems and agency procedures.

We cover the cost of obtaining your Property & Casualty license as well as approved continuing education.

Previous insurance experience is preferred but not required. We are looking for someone who is motivated, detail-oriented, eager to learn, and committed to providing exceptional customer service.

Salary Range: $40,000.00 - $48,000.00 per year

Annual Base Salary Based on Experience

• Must be willing to obtain property and casualty license at our cost.
• High School Diploma required.
• Post-secondary degree preferred.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Professional office and phone etiquette

• Assist Account Managers and Producers
• Maintain contact with clients, to ensure they receive the best customer service
• Maintain communication with underwriters
• Market agency client to insurance companies
• Complete policy changes, proposals, quote reviews, rating duties, etc.
