The Western Connecticut Area Agency on Aging (WCAAA) is seeking a compassionate, organized, and customer-focused Community First Choice (CFC) Administrative Support Specialist to support individuals who self-direct their long-term services and support through Connecticut's Community First Choice (CFC) Program. This is a 35 hour a week position.

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service to CFC participants.
  • Maintain participant records and care plan authorizations.
  • Monitor monthly utilization reports and assist participants with budget management.
  • Conduct quarterly quality assurance phone calls.
  • Educate participants on self-direction, the GTI Portal, timesheet management, and program requirements.
  • Document all participant interactions accurately and timely.
  • Work collaboratively with care managers, DSS, fiscal intermediaries, and community partners.
  • Ensure compliance with all agency, state, and federal requirements.

Qualifications

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Social Work, Healthcare Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of two years of administrative, customer service, healthcare, or human services experience.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and computer skills.
  • Experience with Medicaid, home and community-based services, or care coordination is preferred.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) candidates are encouraged to apply.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
