Blow Mold Production Technician Job Summary:
The Blow Mold Production Technician monitors automated production equipment, maintains supply of production materials, inspects parts, operates forklift, and various other tasks, all with a major emphasis on quality and safety.
Must be able to work 1pm-9pm Tuesday - Friday (4 days a week, 10 hours a day).
Supervisory Responsibilities:
· None
Duties/Responsibilities:
· Operates production machinery in accordance with specifications
· Inspects equipment prior to use to ensure proper setup and alignment; performs basic and routine adjustments and maintenance
· Understands the processing aspects of equipment, performs quality checks, and reports any defects to shift Leadership and QA
- Performs bottle testing procedures and enters data into SPC collection center
- Makes processing adjustments to the machine as needed
· Maintains logs and records of units produced including a record of errors resulting in rejected or discarded pieces
· Maintains a clean, safe, and orderly work area
· Performs other related duties as assigned
Required Skills/Abilities:
· Ability to follow directions and work well in a team
· Thorough understanding of or the ability to quickly learn production equipment
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
· Understanding of and the ability to abide by applicable OSHA and environmental regulations
· Interested in Continuous Improvement and able to thrive in a self-directed environment
· Must be able to work 7:00 PM - 5:30 AM Tuesday - Friday.
Education and Experience:
· HS Diploma/GED Required. Three years of relevant experience (one employer) may be substituted
· At least one year of related experience preferred
Physical Requirements:
· Prolonged periods working on feet
· Must be able push, pull, and lift up to 50 pounds at a time
· Visual acuity to read instructions, operate machines, and inspect parts produced
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.98 - $23.00 per hour
