Overnight Dispatcher

Responsibilities

• Scheduling and dispatching drivers, work crews, vehicles or equipment to appropriate locations according to predetermined schedules, customer requests or immediate needs
• Relaying information such as work orders or other messages to and from work crews, mechanics, supervisors or customers
• Using telephones, email or text messages to contact employees or customers
• Speaking with supervisors or customers to resolve problems, requests for services or equipment
• Preparing daily work such as schedules
• Preparing work orders for crew or receiving work orders from work crews
• Being in charge of communications within company assigned territories
• Keeping and organizing work requests, customer requests, completed work requests, charges for work performed, expenses for services performed, inventory records and other information
• Payroll and other office admin duties

Summary

As a Dispatcher, you will be coordinating our concrete pump trucks on customer jobsite locations from Austin, Houston & Dallas and areas in between. Duties also include taking action to solve to immediate jobsite or equipment needs in a time sensitive environment. Concrete pumping services are offered around the clock and requires clear and timely communication from the entire team including Dispatchers, the Office Manager, Mechanics, Equipment Operators, CDL Drivers, Salesman, Operations Managers, all of which are under the leadership of the General Manager.

• Reporting to the Office Manager, your role involves utilizing strong communication skills and phone etiquette to manage multi-line phone systems and perform data entry tasks accurately. Your core competencies in dispatching, timely communication with collogues and real time action responses are critical to your success as a concrete pump dispatcher. By leveraging relevant experience in fleet management and shipping, you will contribute to optimizing our concrete pumping services to our clients and enhancing our overall service delivery.
