What are the responsibilities and job description for the Freight / Aisle Tech position at Western Building Center?
Freight / Aisle Tech Western Building Center in Kalispell is looking for a full time person to assist with freight and aisle maintenance. In this position you will have the opportunity to perform several different tasks within the store. It is a fast paced position with a lot to do throughout the day. You will be able to help customers with their shopping needs and to direct them to the correct person if they need further help. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn all about WBC and the many ways we can help our customers.
Job Duties:
- Receiving freight as it comes in
- Keeping freight room clean and organized
- Loading product on carts to put out on the floor
- Facing the shelves while stocking them
- Letting the manager know when certain products are running low
- Cleaning the aisleways from debris and clutter
- Assisting customers as needed
- Helping maintain a clean store
- Updating price tickets within the store
- Helping with inventory
- Other duties may be assigned as needed

Physical Requirements:
- Able to lift up to 50lbs
- Standing and walking for long periods of time
- Bending, twisting, kneeling, pushing and pulling
- Good hand eye coordination
- Good communication skills written, verbal, and spoken
