The Western Buckeye Educational Service Center is seeking qualified applicants for the position of AI &
Instructional Tech Specialist to work in school districts across Paulding and Van Wert counties.
The AI & Instructional Technology Specialist provides leadership and support to districts and ESC staff in the
implementation of artificial intelligence, instructional technology, and digital learning practices. The role
includes designing and delivering professional development, supporting technology integration, and ensuring
compliance with student data privacy and technology policies.
Responsibilities also include researching emerging technologies, guiding ethical and effective AI use, and
collaborating with educators and administrators to enhance teaching, learning, and operational efficiency.
Candidates should demonstrate strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills, along with
experience in educational technology, professional learning, and digital content management. Preference
will be given to candidates with prior teaching experience, with instructional coaching a plus!
Qualifications include:
● Bachelor’s degree in Education, Educational Technology, Information Technology, or a related field.
● Experience designing and delivering professional learning experiences.
● Knowledge of artificial intelligence tools and emerging technologies in education.
● Valid Ohio licensure or ability to obtain appropriate certification
