Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Automotive Mechanic to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles with precision and efficiency. Your expertise will ensure that every vehicle leaving our shop meets the highest standards of safety, performance, and reliability. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with diverse automotive systems, including diesel engines, transmissions, suspension, electrical systems, and more.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough diagnostics using advanced automotive electrical systems and schematics to identify issues accurately.
- Perform repairs on mechanical systems including engines, transmissions, suspensions, brakes, shocks & struts, and powertrain components.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical tools to complete repairs efficiently and safely.
- Repair and maintain ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), air brake systems, and other specialized automotive features.
- Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical problems effectively.
- Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repair needs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working in the automotive repair industry with dealership experience preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems including diesel engines, transmissions, powertrain components, and electrical systems.
- Proficiency with automotive diagnostics tools and schematics for accurate troubleshooting.
- Hands-on experience with heavy equipment mechanics is a plus.
- Knowledge of automotive safety standards and maintenance procedures.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Valid certification or licensing relevant to automotive repair; ASE certification is highly desirable.

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
