Job Summary:
This role will be the first point of contact for clients, managing front desk duties and ensuring a professional and welcoming environment. In addition to handling phone calls and scheduling, you will assist in servicing client accounts by updating information, processing requests, and providing support to the insurance team. This role combines administrative efficiency with customer service excellence to help maintain smooth daily operations.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Greet and direct guests in the office
- Answer and screen incoming calls and emails
- Receive and sort daily mail
- Schedule meetings, client visits, and company events
- Manage and stock office supplies
- Perform various clerical tasks including faxing, transcribing, and filing
- Service existing accounts, as appropriate:
- Billing
- Changes
- Claims
- Issue certificates, binders, and other evidence of property documents
- Pursue professional growth within the industry
- Other duties as assigned
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- Organizational skills and attention to detail
- Interpersonal skills
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times
