The Role:
As a Crop Insurance Data Analyst, you will analyze agricultural data and insurance claims to identify trends, assess risk, and support decision-making processes at an intermediate level. Your role involves interpreting complex data sets, generating reports, and providing actionable insights to improve underwriting and claims management. Collaboration with other departments to ensure data accuracy and enhance the effectiveness of crop insurance programs will also be key aspects of this position.
Duties and Responsibilities
· Perform data validation to ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness of information across systems and reports
· Collaborate with team members to ensure validated data is properly utilized for analysis, reporting, and decision-making
· Service existing crop department accounts
· Document policies and activities in agency management system
· Organize presentations, delivery, packets, and renewal appointments for sales teams
· Process data via third party management systems
· Process bills, changes, claims, and policy renewal
· Quote both MPCI and Hail
· Submit applications to insurance carriers
- Pursue professional growth within the industry
· Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
· Agriculture industry experience preferred
· High School Diploma or equivalent
· Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
· Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times
