Warehouse Operator
Glendale, AZ
Full Time - $21 to start or competitive based on experience
First shift
We are a high volume print and direct-mail firm. We are looking for someone to perform material control activities in a 5S lean environment to support the manufacturing group with its goal of meeting on-time delivery and quality objectives.
Some of the tasks for the Warehouse Operator position include but are not limited to;
Prepare and expedite all items / pallets for shipping and receiving, adhering to delivery date requirements as well as customer specifications.
Complete and or review all documentation (packing slips / bills of lading) and all other pertinent documents required for shipping/receiving for accuracy.
Deliver all internal and incoming material to the assigned storage location or to the next operation in the manufacturing process.
Operate company forklift to transport and organize materials to designated locations. Utilize Pallet jacks and hand trucks for tasks.
Load and manage balers.
Load and off load trucks.
Inventory
Skills / Physical Demands
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide.
Ability to carry out and understand instructions via written, oral or diagram form.
Basic Computer skills.
Communication skills.
Employee is required to reach with hands and arms, bend, kneel, climb and also be able to be on their feet for long hours.
Must be able to safely lift and move up to 50 pounds on a daily basis.
Language Skills
Ability to read, write and speak English. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions and procedural manuals.
Team player
Ability to work Overtime and sometimes 7 days a week
At times our production is very fast paced and we need someone who can stay organized, focused, and be sure each task gets done quickly, correctly and safely. Must be detail-oriented, willing to communicate with teammates and have prior warehouse experience.'
