Summary
The Field Project Coordinator/ Assistant supports WesTech’s construction and commissioning projects through on-site and administrative coordination in Juliette, GA. Working closely with the Field Engineer, this role helps manage documentation, scheduling, progress tracking, reporting, and daily site activities. It serves as a key link between field teams, subcontractors, and the home office, ensuring accurate records, smooth workflows, clear communication, and adherence to WesTech’s safety, quality, and compliance standards.
Candidates for this position may be required to pass pre-employment and periodic screenings, including background checks, drug and alcohol tests, or other necessary assessments.
Some of the work you will do: Represent WesTech on-site and support field activities throughout the project
- Assist the Field Engineer with monitoring construction, inspections, and QA/QC documentation
- Track daily work, maintain logs, and report progress
- Coordinate materials, deliveries, and inventory
- Communicate with contractors, engineers, and customers to address site issues
- Maintain consistent communication between field and office teams
- Support start-up and commissioning with records, redlines, and training materials
- Provide logistical and clerical support to uphold safety and quality standards
- Manage and organize drawings, RFIs, reports, and documentation in SharePoint/Bluebeam/Teams
- Maintain version control and ensure documentation meets ISO and quality requirements
- Prepare transmittals, tracking logs, and inspection records
- Assist with redlines and updates to construction and commissioning documents
- Upload and track documentation in customer portals (e.g., PIMS)
- Support scheduling, reporting, procurement, and expense tracking
- Assist with closeout materials, as-builts, and O&M documentation.

- Extended driving and travel may be required (up to 75–90%).
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- 3–5 years of experience in construction, field coordination, or project administration.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, SharePoint, and Teams.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Strong organizational, recordkeeping, and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently under general direction.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, note-taking, and reporting skills.
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
- Ability to pass background, medical, and drug screenings as required by site-specific conditions.
- Willingness and ability to work in a construction environment with exposure to weather and physical activity.
Here are the skills and qualifications that will set you apart:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
- Proficiency with Bluebeam, Navisworks, Plant 3D, and Business Central.
- Familiarity with Advanced Work Packaging (AWP) and EPC project workflows.
- Experience in document control, transmittal tracking, and quality documentation.
- Experience with construction management software or ERP systems (e.g., Business Central, Concur).
- Field experience inspecting, assembling, or servicing mechanical or water treatment systems.
Physical Requirements:
- Regularly required to walk, stand, bend, and climb ladders or catwalks at construction sites.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in varied environments (heat, cold, wet, confined spaces).
- Extended driving and travel may be required (up to 75–90%).
- Must wear required PPE and pass respirator fit testing if required by site.
